Nigeria; Nigerian manager Gernot Rohr has recalled the striker Oghenekaro Etebo for the 24 men initial squad of Nigerian football team for the fixture of World Cup qualifier match next month against Algeria in Uyo.
Etebo, who is currently playing for the Portages club CD Feirense had an excellent run after scoring four goals in the 2016 Rio Olympics where Nigerian team won the bronze medal.
“I am delighted to be recalled and I hope to give my best to the country as always,” Etebo told BBC Sport following his first call-up under the new national manager.
Premier League duo Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo are also among the 24 men squad for the next month clash.
