One of the most top ranked Ghanaian Footballer, Andre Ayew, who is likewise the Black Stars deputy has achieved another milestone by making the list of the CAF’s 30 man list for the ‘ 2016 African Player of the Year’ award. No doubt, it’s a great achievement for the Ghanaian player who has also made his country proud.
The matter of fact is, Andre Ayew is the only Ghanaian who has made the CAF’s preliminary 30-man list for the ‘2016 African Player of the Year’ after an amazing and worth appreciating year with Swansea. Andre has competed many other great footballers in getting this award.
Andre Ayew is determined to do even better in the coming year as he has missed on the last release when he completed third behind winner Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Yaya Toure. Not only this, the great Andre completed his presentation season at Swansea City as the club’s top scorer.
The other candidates for African Player of the Year includes, Kenyan player Victor Wanyama, Liberian William Jebor, Nigerian Kalechi Iheanacho, South African Keegan Dolly, Nigerian Ahmed Musa, Tanzanian striker Mbwana Samatta among others.
