Egypt; More than 12 members of security forces have been killed in an attack by the so-called Islamic State according to the news.
An armed gunman started firing on the forces in the Sinai region, the Reuters news agency reports quoting medical and security sources.
The attack took place 40 km (25 miles) away from the town of Bir al-Abd, making it the first major attack in the central Sinai area, which had so far escaped a campaign of Islamist attacks, the report says.
Sources told Reuters that assault rifles and some heavier weapons were used in the attack.
The injured soldiers were taken to the hospital immediately by the rescue workers.
So Called Islamic State has a strong hold in the Egypt and now taking their step forward to influence in the African nations.
Islamic State is also handling many other terrorist groups in African such as Boko Haram and Al Shabab. Tens of thousands of people have been killed in the previous years in the terrorist’s attacks of ISIS, Boko Haram and Al Shabab mainly in Egypt, Somalia, Nigeria, Sudan and other African countries. African people have lost their houses and most of the people are looking to leave Africa. Most of them try to reach Europe through perilous journey of Sea and thousands are losing their lives.
