Italian coast guard biggest rescue operation to save about 7000 African migrants

Italian coast guard and European Union forces are making one of the biggest rescue operation to save about 6500 people who are drowning in the sea trying to reach Italian and European shores from Libya according to the Italian coast guard officials,

About 40 different missions and coast guard rescue teams are in the 20 kilometers area trying to save the people who risked their lives to reach in the Europe.

A video has been viral on media in which a huge number of Africans mostly from Somalia Libya and other African countries are trying to reach the rescue ships. Some of them are swimming and some are drowning helplessly.

There is huge number of children among the migrants and rescue teams are trying their best to save them. Rescue teams saved more than 1100 people on Sunday only and still the rescue work is continued.

On Monday many NGO’s and other teams also joined the operation. Most of the people are trying to reach Europe to save their life from the extremists and war whereas some of them are trying to reach their to earn the properties life. However, migrants from African countries such as Eritrea and Somalia as well as West African nations such as Nigeria and the Gambia are continuing to attempt the crossing from Libya to Italy.

The ships on they travel are overloaded and fuel also ends soon because of overloading and they drowns in the sea.
