The source reveals that the Patrick Twumasi helped FC Astana progress to the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round as they defeated Lithuanian side FK Zalgiris Vilnius by 2-1.
The 22 year old was named in the starting line-up of the FC Astana, however, he was replaced in the injury time by Abzal Beysebekov.
Twumasi scored in the 31st minute of the game, but his earlier strike was cancelled by the visitors in the 57th minute. Then Kazakh side got a late win at home with the help of Marin Anicic strike as he scored in the 93rd minute of the game.
