Ghana FA president has sued 2B $ on Ghanaian company

Ghana; Ghanaian FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi has submitted a Sui case on the Ghanaian broadcast company for damaging the reputation of the officials and calling him the head of mafia according to the news.

He said that the company has to answer about the fake charges on his reputation.

Nyantakyi has sent the league notice to Multimedia Broadcasting Limited (MBL) and two of its journalists, Patrick Osei Agyeman and Kofi Asare Brako for demaging the repute of Faderation.

“I am not interested in money or punishment but to set the record straight,” Nyantakyi, a Fifa Council member, said in an interview.

The proceedings of the court on this important case will start on Monday in the capital of Ghana Accra and high court will hear the case.

Thadeus Sory, the legal advisor of Nyantakyi’s lawyer, that his customer was labelled as ‘heading a mafia’ and stealing money meant for the GFA.

“They’ve called me a ‘thief’, ‘armed robber’ and a ‘corrupt’ man,” added Nyantakyi.

“I have sued them. I want to uphold standards in journalism in Ghana which have been thrown to the dogs.”

“The allegations are defamatory. To call him the head of a mafia is to impute criminality,” said Thadeus Sory, Nyantakyi’s lawyer.
