Libya; Libyan football federation has terminated its national football coach Javier Clemente after a disappointed performance at the FIFA World cup qualifier match against DR Congo. Libyan team lost to DR Congo by four goals to nil on Saturday.
Country has been suffering because of incivility and law in order situation due to terrorist organizations. Remember that Libya is not allowed to host any international football match due to law in order situation.
The country’s football federation announced its decision a day after the Group A match in Kinshasa.
66 years old coach, had been due to leave at the end of November when his contract would have expired.
Their next World Cup qualifier is against Tunisia on 11 November and will be played in Cairo, Egypt.
A spokesman for the Libyan Football Federation said a foreign coach would be in charge for that fixture, which has now become a must-win game for Libya.
