In September, Google has assured that Android 7.0 will be out for the Nexus 6 and LTE Nexus 9 in some weeks. The possessors of the Nexus 6 already got the update at the start of this week and now the tablet developed by HTC is getting the same benefit. The update for the Nexus 9 LTE brings the build number NRD90R and it also has the Android security patch for September.
Customers who registered in the Android N Beta Program had got the update on their Nexus 9 LTE almost a month back and it appears that those who were not willing to participate in the program are receiving exactly the same build number (NRD90R) as the beta testers. The update has got the Android security patch with a date of September 6, even though the Nexus 6 Nougat update has a security patch with a date of October 5. Moreover, Google has not given the Factory and OTA photos so far.
Android 7.0 Nougat began coming out on August 22 to Google’s Nexuses and soon, it will be available for other flagships launched by OEMs. The latest operating system has provided visual developments to notifications and several novel features like Quick reply, split-screen, Doze Mode on the Go, new Settings menu. Customers have provision to Bluetooth, WiFi and other normal features from the latest notifications board, and observe irregular offers in the Suggestions corner from the top of the Settings menu.
As for the Nexus 9 LTE, the tablet has been launched in October 2014, with an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display that provides a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, it is power-driven by an Nvidia Tegra K1 dual-core 2.3 GHz Denver processor that is joined with 2GB of RAM and Kepler DX1 graphics. It does not give a card slot, and its interior memory provides a capacity of 32GB. On its rear it has got LED flash, an 8MP camera with autofocus and its main camera is 1.6MP.
