Somalia; More than seven men have been killed in a bomb blast in the seaside hotel situated in the Somali capital Mogadishu according to the news reports.
According to the city police and security resources an armed man attacked in front of the hotel blowing the car which destroyed the building. However security forces shot dead two attackers and also succeeded to arrest one of the terrorist latter who escaped from the spot. The government has claimed that Islamic extremist group Al Shabab responsible for the terrorist attack.
Remember that the Al Shabab group has continuously been involved in the chain of bomb blasts and terrorist attacks in Somalia. A few days ago 17 people killed in a car bomb blast and Al Shabab accepted the responsibility of the attacks.
Al-Shabab, which is related to al-Qaeda, was ousted from Mogadishu in August 2011 but still has a presence in large areas of southern Somalia.
